    Cover the entire aquarium bottom with peat plates, or cover only the site where plants will be placed. Cover the peat plates with 7-8 cm of aquarium gravel or substrate. Put plants into the tank until they reach the peat plates so that they easily root. Immerse the peat plates in water for 24 hours before using them in the aquarium.
