Is a mix consisting in high-adsorbing resins and coconut carbon, which is physically activated utilizing water vapour, for the chemical and biological filtration of salt and fresh water aquariums.
It is an exclusive Prodac International media product with a wide range of functions as it "adsorbs" through the carbon: colouring agents, medicinal and organic pollutants, pesticides, toxins, detergents, metabolic waste, smoke, nicotine.
and through the resins neutralizes: ammonia, nitrates and phosphates.
As Aktivkohle Plus is pre-washed to avoid altering the pH level and to maintain the resins damp and active
it is a ready to use product.
Each gram of active carbon develops 1200 m² of "adsorbing" surface area ensuring efficient and total filtration.
