Seachem Zeolite – Natural Ammonia & Heavy Metal Remover (250g)
Seachem Zeolite is a premium-grade, naturally occurring mineral with an exceptionally high surface area and ion exchange capacity. It is designed to remove toxic ammonia and harmful heavy metals such as lead, copper, nickel, and zinc from aquarium water.
Unlike other zeolite products, Seachem Zeolite has the highest ammonia binding capacity available—up to ten times more effective than standard zeolites and twice as effective as the closest competitor. It is safe for use in both freshwater and marine aquariums and will not deplete calcium or increase general hardness.

Directions for Use:
- Use 250 mL (approx. 1 cup) per 200 L (50 US gallons)
- For smaller tanks: 5 mL (1 tsp) per 4 L (1 US gallon)
- Rinse before use and place in a filter bag (e.g., Seachem The Bag)
- Position in a high-flow area of your filter or sump
- Removes up to 0.5 mg/L ammonia; monitor levels with Seachem Ammonia Alert
- Replace monthly for heavy metal removal; for ammonia, replace or recharge as needed
