Seachem SulfaPlex – Broad-Spectrum Antibacterial & Antifungal Treatment (5g)
Seachem SulfaPlex is a versatile and gentle antibiotic treatment designed to combat a wide range of bacterial, fungal, and protozoan infections in aquarium fish. It is especially effective in treating:
- Fin Rot
- Mouth Rot
- Hemorrhagic Septicemia
- Fur Coat Syndrome
- Columnaris
- True fungal infections (cotton-like tufts)
Containing 69% sulfathiazole, SulfaPlex is absorbed through the gills and skin, making it effective even when fish are not eating. It is safe for use in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums and does not interfere with biological filtration. It can be dosed directly into the water or mixed with food using Seachem Focus™ for internal infections.

Directions for Use:
- In Water: Use 2–3 scoops (included) per 40 L (10 US gallons) every 72 hours for up to 3 weeks
- In Food: Mix 1 scoop SulfaPlex + 1 scoop Focus™ + 1 tbsp food. Feed daily for up to 3 weeks
- Turn off UV/ozone and remove chemical filtration during treatment
- After treatment, use activated carbon to remove residual medication
