Seachem Reef Advantage Magnesium is a concentrated, ionically balanced blend of magnesium, chloride, and sulfate salts formulated to safely restore magnesium levels in reef aquariums. Magnesium is essential for maintaining calcium and alkalinity balance, and its depletion can lead to unstable pH and poor coral growth.
This dry formula contains no ammonia—unlike many liquid magnesium supplements—and is ideal for use in systems that utilize Kaltwasser or carbonate additives, which can precipitate magnesium and make it biologically unavailable.

Directions for Use:
- Use 5g (1 level teaspoon) per 80 L (20 US gallons) twice weekly
- Dissolve in at least 250 mL of freshwater before dosing
- Each 5g per 80 L raises magnesium by ~5 mg/L
- Do not exceed 25g per 80 L per day
- Target magnesium range: 1,200–1,350 mg/L
