ADA Power Sand M – Mid-Depth Substrate System for Planted Tanks
ADA Power Sand M is the ideal foundational substrate for aquariums between 40cm and 60cm in height. Designed to be placed below Aqua Soil, it sets the stage for robust plant growth and efficient nutrient cycling.
Its blend of porous volcanic stones and rich organic compounds promotes beneficial bacteria proliferation, enhances water circulation, and avoids substrate stiffness over time. It creates the optimal rooting zone for aquatic plants like Cryptocoryne, Echinodorus, and carpet species.
Setup Guidelines:
- Use ADA Power Sand M as bottom layer
- Top with ADA Aqua Soil for a complete nutrient system
- Choose M size for tanks between 40cm and 60cm depth
