Giant Water Lily Seeds for Spectacular Aquatic Displays
Victoria Cruziana, also known as the Santa Cruz Water Lily, is one of the largest and most dramatic aquatic plants in the world. Native to South America, this species features enormous floating leaves with raised rims and fragrant, night-blooming flowers that shift from creamy white to deep pink over two nights.
The blooms are thermogenic—generating their own heat to attract pollinators—and emit a pineapple-like scent. Each plant can produce up to 50 flowers per season, making it a showstopper in any large water feature.
Usage Instructions:
- Soak seeds in warm water for 24–48 hours
- Carefully nick the seed coat and plant in loamy soil submerged in shallow warm water
- Maintain water temperature above 21°C (70°F) for optimal germination
