Gypsum Powder – Calcium Sulfate-Based Pond Conditioner
Gypsum Powder is used in aquaculture systems to clarify pond water by flocculating fine clay and organic particles. The calcium ions provided act as electrolytes, forming clumps that reduce turbidity and settle suspended matter.
By improving calcium and total hardness, Gypsum supports skeletal development in fish and exoskeleton integrity in crustaceans. Ideal for hatchery situations, biofloc systems, and turbid pond conditions.
