It fights fungal infections (Saprolegniasis Achlya sp, and Aphanomices) both internal and external and some of those bacteria (Mycobacteria, tare and Edwardsiella ictaluri and Aeromonas salmonicidia).Safe for freshwater and saltwater aquariums and live plants. PimaFix has been formulated to work in combination with Melafix to enhance effectiveness against fish diseases.
